WTS AL4040 is a Terminal Automotive which is used for applications for satellite radiolocation. With the integrated GPS receiver is able to receive data on its current location anywhere in the world and transmit the information at very high speed through a GSM/EDGE/GPRS connection.
In this first version the WTS AL4040 allows the remotely configuration, via SMS, for all functions relating to the management of users in memory and part purely Automotive. The external memory, which is used for GPS information storage is able to acquire up to a maximum of 4096 samples without any loss of information; in practice by sampling every 5 minutes, the memory will be saturated after more than 2 weeks!

Presence of a System Administrator with the ability to change all the parameters of system (password, timer, string configuration, etc. ..) and add or delete account (user in heading)
Users are provided of limited privileges to only using of the Automotive functionality
The sistem has a password Administration and a passsword for to receive GPS data
Equipped with an external memory capable of
sample GPS data until 4096
Sampling GPS data on external memory every 5 minutes, this time of sampling is paramettrizzabile

Transmission of all data stored in memory up to that point, through a GPRS connection, with a simple request via SMS
Ability to view, in real time, the exact
position through a command sent via SMS
In a sampling GPS is possible to see:
Longitude, Latitude, UTC, date, height,
l.m.s.)
The system implements the code detection CRC error in allowing the case to NEGATIVE ACK packet retransmissions
