Proclamation

On March 13 2003 Mario Gumina is graduated in in computer science at the Faculty of Mathematical Sciences of the university of Messina.The thesis dedicated to plannig GSM/GPRS modules and to the dispatch of SMS through GSM nets.
The dispatch of the SMS is a common procedure that allows to communicate in synthetic and fast way today.
Throw the modules aforesaid the student has realized a new and simple way to send SMS.
The project has been commissioned and developed in the firm ISE Engineering S.r.L . of Gioiosa Marea that has put all the necessary at total disposal.
The purpose of this thesis is the utilization of the modules Siemens MC35 Terminal from whoever through a simple and functional program.
Two softwares fundamentally have been developed that are in a position of to perform the same operations in two different languages. The first is the language C from the almost endless potentialities and with a good portability; the second is the Visual Basic, a light language but that it allows to develop software with a certain liberty and with a good efficiency.
Besides the software developed in language C has been thought for the one who deals with the aspect more technician of these modules and it is served for exploiting to the best the functionalities of the door serial and to manage exchange data on it.
Managing everything this in fact has been possible to analyze as the used modules are connected to of the Personal Computer and not only, considering that to everything today the serial is the door of communication for excellence for this type of products. The whole job has been developed with Teacher Luigia PUCCIO supervision chairman of the project of thesis and the Engineer Giuseppe PITTARI, business chairman.
