M2mPower IDE II ( 1st Week)

In the first session you make an excursus cultural, historical and economic about the development of the environment M2m power Ide from 2003 to today. Will describe in detail the Hardware and Software M2M platform pointing out the advantages in use for the development of industrial applications in general and in specific case. Will highlight different modality to design, prototyping and industrialization, which stem from a decade of experience in the field of M2M Apps.

The photovoltaic plant
( 2nd Week ) |

We taken for granted the legislation that allows the realization of "GRID CONNECTED" photovoltaic systems, will examined the operation from the standpoint in the electronic components: PV panels, Convert CC-CA, Telecontrol GSM in the CSD and GPRS. Parameterization of the remote control and choice of connectivity about the aspect the economic and security installation. Mention on the possibilities of solutions against theft and act of vandalism. We will refer to a plant actually installed and connected to the ENEL network

DC-AC converter and
Needs of remote ( 3rd Week ) |

Brief analysis of the converter and introduction to the needs of remote. Available interfaces and connectivity of systems with different converters at least two manufacturers: Fronius and POWER ONE. Aspects of protocol and communication with inverter multi-plant and notes photovoltaic fields exist it on areas local short-range (300m). Wiring and installation of remote control devices which respects the constraints of law and security. Analysis of the costs of installation and management and design decisions aimed at raising the reliability and the proposed solution.

Choice of programmable controller and
connectability ( 4th Week )

Continuing with the analysis of the plant in order to choose the programmable M2M power IDE controller , to achieve the project objectives. Technical economic analysis of connectivity services offered by major operators with comparisons and evaluations on roaming and territorial coverage. Choice of components and services that will be the subject of studies in the following forms. Mention on the aspects of protection of the remote control from possible overload network by Enel and any lightning.

Development of the code "C"
and Debug ( 5 th Week ) |

Description about to the development environment M2M Power IDE II and tools for software and firmware design. Block diagram and flowchart that carry out pre-set of specifications for the two types of connectivity: CSD and GPRS . From the flow chart in the " pseudocode " to get the source code in "C" structured, optimized and commented. Details and clarification of the major functions implemented with particular attention to those low-level (. ASM) and all those relating to the connectability to the network. Debugging and compared to find solutions with the course participants who wish to publish their own software and firmware.

| Testing ( 6 th Week ) |
|
Although limited to the typical problems of systems up to 20 kWp, the greatest needs are highlighted and the specific constraints of safety and reliability that must be guaranteed to any remote monitoring system for medium and large PV systems. Testing of various solutions on a real pilot plant that will be available for trials and testing to all participants who want to test your developed solution .
